With a little more than a month left in the regular season the Red Sox are 6 games back of the Yankees.
The way the schedules play out for Tampa Bay they'll be seeing a lot of the Bronx Bombers. This is great news assuming we're winning ball games. If we can win the next few series we'll secure our spot for the wild card, we might even have a shot at the division if the Rays can beat up on the Yanks.
The Red Sox focus should be on the Yankees still until it's virtually impossible to take the division. The only worry we should have is a red hot Texas Rangers team.
